Yesterday, while thinking through some possible options for the Maxine project. The idea is to create a nice amiable character that offers motivational and comforting messaging when people are feeling down.

At times when people are feeling down, it is uplifting to read or hear messages that are positive and inspirational without being wonky or too much. A message from a loved one like a brother, mother or father can really help. Unfortunately, many people don’t have someone like that.

Love, Maxine

I am working on possible sustainable business models including creating an NFT or possibly monetizing by charging $1 a week. But, I remember when I downloaded an app co-developed by Grimes that was supposed to help me but they wanted a lot of money. It turned me off and made me feel that the app creators weren’t interested in helping me. This will not be a for-profit creation.

Ten thousand people subscribing to the app, each paying $1 per month, would be enough to sustain the project. It may not be enough to integrate top-level technology but it could pay for server costs and other costs related to development.
