I’ve started listening to a large number of podcasts that are interesting and educational. So, while I am working on home projects, I can spend time learning about new technology and other topics. I enjoy listening to smart people talk about topics that wouldn’t generally make for good radio. I can rewind or relisten to a podcast if I found it interesting.

This morning, I decided to organize the podcasts so I can focus on learning in a range of categories, focused mainly on improving my business but also on the core categories in my education system.

Organize Podcasts

I might add categories but I think this is a good start.

Yesterday, I started listening to a data engineering podcast and am pretty sure if I wasn’t doing work outside I would not have had the attention span for it. I tend to get distracted easily but also get bored easily Just working outside listening to the radio doesn’t feel productive enough to me. Listening to podcasts has become a very enjoyable way to learn while also being productive.

I found several podcast search engines available.

ListenNotes organizes by personal (listeners), business and creators (podcasters).

Google Podcasts uses the power of Google search. Who doesn’t love Google search?

Apple Podcasts does a good job of organizing podcasts by category. I’ll probably use that most.
